OctroTalk says offline (will try) when i try to connect.

I am using windows vista 32bit..... i tried with keeping my firewall and anti-virus turned off....

Normally i use my home Wi-fi....

What are you trying to connect to? GoogleTalk/Jabber?

One thing you can also try is to run it as Administrator.. Not sure it will help though..

Yes, I too have the same problem.
I'm trying to connect using GoogleTalk account and it says "Offline (Will retry)", but it never gets connected. However, I can login to GoogleTalk using the default google Client and chat with buddies.

I'm behind an ISA firewall, but there is NO particular settings in ISA that stops any traffic from my desktop. Any Traffic to Internet is permitted.

OctroTalk connects to talk.google.com on port 5222. If that is open on your system, OctroTalk should be able to connect.

Help My P2P programs are not connecting. Ive tried Ares & Limewire PRO & they dont connect, uTorrent says the port is blocked as well when I test the port.

Im on o2 LLU using Windows XP Home SP3 w. ESET Nod32 Business Edition, Windows Firewall is turned off.
